Every Thursday starting June 27th for 6 weeks (skipping July 4)
Morning session: 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. for ages 5-8
Afternoon session: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. for ages 9-14
There is a $1.00 fee per child per session.
No pre-registration taken. This is a first come, first serve program with a limit of 25 children per session. The doors will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the session. There will be interactive gallery activities prior to the start of the session each week. Parents are asked to stay with their children until the start of the session.
Again this year will are please to offer Art Days Program to bring art to children ages 5-14. Each week there will be a different art project focusing on an artist or an art technique. Please see the schedule listed to the right for the weekly projects. Summer Art Camp held at the Suffolk Art Gallery, 118 Bosley Ave.

Enter the magical world of Printmaking where you will make people move across the page, design your own tee shirt, make food come to life, and even more exciting and inspiring projects. This is a wonderful introduction to the art of printmaking, using pool noodles, sponges, plaster, and yes, REAL fish to stamp, print, and create more cool stuff throughout the week. This camp also includes an enrichment trip to The Chrysler Museum in Norfolk. So, Get Your Print On....make new friends, develop new art skills, and have a blast at ART CAMP.
Children will need to bring a lunch each day. We will provide a snack.

This mini art camp focuses on things that fly. Children will make several projects over the 3 day camp. While creating their art the students will learn about different styles of art, upcycling and turning trash to treasure, and different art techniques.
Students will create a bird feeder, a beaded butterfly or dragonfly, bubble wand, a resist painting and a kite. All materials are supplied each day.

For 3 sessions is $45 SAL member/
For 2 sessions is $35 SAL member/
For one session is $18 SAL members/$25 non-members
