Hollow Form Vessel with Silver Clay - S.A.L. Member
The techniques covered in this class include how to manipulate the clay, expand on skill and experiences previously learned in making hollow designs. Whereas the past hollow forms have been as a design element or component, this vessel will be functional as well as decorative. Students will use a variety of materials, textures and molds to create the hollow form. They will work in dry slab construction to create the vessel as well as work with clay in a syringe. Of course sanding and finishing techniques will be use and simple repair methods will be learned as needed. This class is for Beginners and Intermediate students. All materials included in the cost of class and tools, molds, and texture plates will be available for use during class.
