Public Mural Project
Festival Park
In partnership with the City of Suffolk and Keep Suffolk Beautiful, we are selecting an artist to design and create a mural for a public space within the Downtown Suffolk area to be commissioned by the city. The artwork will attract the attention of attendees at the Downtown Festival Park located 215 W. Washington St., Suffolk, VA 23434. This new park invites families to enjoy music, festivals, movies, and a celebration of the arts in the heart of downtown Suffolk.

Festival Park Mural Dimensions:
- Full Mural Space: 140ft. x 20ft. height on ends and middle wall 14ft. height
- Approximately 2,380 sq. ft.
-Wall has recently been prepped and painted.
Size/Medium: The artwork will be large enough to be seen from the road and provide a fun,
colorful backdrop to the festival park.
Theme/Style: The selection committee is open to various themes and styles, but with an
understanding that it reflects Suffolk, and what the festival park represents.
Calendar:
Spring 2025.
