Come and spend the afternoon playing with copper wire as we learn the basics. We will start with a wrapped loop - the foundational skill that allows us to hang just about anything on an earring or necklace. From there we will explore easy ear wires and closures. We will use these new skills to make a pair of wire wrapped and beaded silk tassel earrings and a few amazing wired shell, beach glass or stone pendants.
Students should bring: shells, stones and beach glass you've been collecting, plus basic jewelry tools including round nose pliers, flat nose pliers and flush cutters if you have them. Sandy will have plenty of each to share if you do not have any.
All supplies and tools will provide including: wire, silk fibers, beads, shells, glass, extra jewelry tools, anvils, hammers, files, etc. Space is limited.
