Hot Glass Sculpting - Non-Member
Come create a small hot glass sculpture or an ornament. Ed and his team will show you how to use hot glass to create a work of art. You will be able to choose the color for your sculpture or ornament. Once the piece is completed it will need to go into an annealer to cool the glass slowly, which will take overnight. The pieces will then be cold worked, if necessary, and returned to the gallery. Someone from the Suffolk Art League will call when they are available to be picked up. There will be 3 spaces per hour so when you register please choose a time slot. You must dress appropriately for working with hot glass, long pants and closed toed shoes are a must. We will have eye protection for you to use during your time at the bench. This is a great way to experience hot glass!
